Leave the 21st Century behind....
Lady Linden, a Victorian Queen Anne 'Stick' style home, was built in 1887 and has recently been meticulously restored according to that period by owners Jim and Jean Leaman.
First built for Samuel Hench, a York industrialist, the home was one in the early development of York's West End Improvement, now known as the Avenues neighborhood. The Avenues architecture reflects home styles from the mid 1880s to the 1950s and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
